Golden Paws is a small animal, mobile veterinary practice dedicated to the overall wellness and care of pet’s in the Hampton Roads area, especially Senior Assisted Living Communities. We primarily work with dogs and cats.
The Golden Paws Team (all experienced veterinary workers) is dedicated to providing an exceptional level of care to family pets at their home, especially animals belonging to the senior citizens of Hampton Roads.
In order to fulfill the obligation of compassionate and competent care to the region, Golden Paws will invest in understanding and communicating effectively with our staff members, referring veterinarians, clients and patients and the community at large.
We take an integrative approach to our patients and their families wellness by spending time understanding the clients’ needs, concerns and the animals’ overall comfort and wellbeing.
We will also work directly with community veterinarians that may not be able to reach a patient due to age of the client or in some cases, stress of the animal visiting a brick and mortar clinic.
We are a team of passionate and compassionate animal caregivers with extensive experience. We are a mobile house-call veterinary practice providing comprehensive in-home health care services to companion animals in Norfolk and the surrounding areas including the communities of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Newport News, and Hampton. Our veterinary team offers a wide variety of medical, surgical and dental veterinary services in the Golden Paws Veterinary Service and Housecalls mobile clinic.
